A year ago I started to get calls from "Microsoft" informing me about issues with my computer's OS and that they would like to help fixing it. Telling them that I use BSD does not turn them off. Perhaps they realized that this was fibs since I use Linux. Anyways the only way to get rid of them was to block Great Britain (0044).
That's what my router recorded recently so I guess you can imagine now what I had to put up with all the time:
