Speakers: Jeroen De Dauw · Start: 2026/11/11 14:05:00 · Conference: MediaWiki Users and Developers Conference Fall 2026

Introduction, demo, and roadmap of NeoWiki, the new structured data extension NeoWiki is an open-source MediaWiki extension for working with structured data. It is a spiritual successor to Semantic MediaWiki and Wikibase, aiming for drastically better usability and sustainability. We announced NeoWiki at MUDCon Spring 2026; since then it has launched publicly, backed by the ECHOLOT EU cultural heritage consortium and set to power structured data in the next BlueSpice.

You will get a demo of key capabilities, including schemas and validation, form-based editing, views, multiple subjects per page, and knowledge graph queries. We'll also share the roadmap.
